Riddles
Each riddle both reveals (and conceals) a person in the Bible. Each part of the riddle tells some detail about the person's life. Can you guess who it is?
(Hint: it's not Jesus, Paul, Peter, or Mary the mother of Jesus, or some very obscure character hardly anyone has heard).
RIDDLE #1
Born of a priest,
named for a bird;
Attracted by kindness,
when his voice she heard.

She left her place,
to have sons with her man,
yet never settled
in a new land.

He- God's leader,
yet she spurned his faith,
and endured a divorce
rather than see his face.

WHO IS SHE?

Son of none,
but known for war.
Trumpets sound;
they are no more.

Born a slave,
yet his name
was given to another
of greatest fame.
