Highland Citrus Fair

The Highland Citrus Fair is an annual community fair featuring various booths and vendors. Messiah sets up an area for activities in front of the church. The church offers free water bottles, popcorn, games, magic tricks, face painting, balloons, and a car wash to fairgoers.

We bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our community through a variety of events such as the Highland Citrus Fair, Girl Scouts, distributing the Jesus video, and other outreach activities.

Girl Scouts Junior and Brownie Girl Scout troops meet at the church every other Wednesday at 3:00pm during the school year. Scout leaders are dedicated to helping the girls mature spiritually and teaching them to help others in a fun environment. Contact Messiah for meeting times and more information.

Jesus Video Outreach

Messiah has distributed videos about the life of Jesus door-to-door in the surrounding neighborhoods. Handing out the free videos is an important opportunity to spread the Gospel in the area and to increase awareness of the church's presence.

Highland 4th of July Parade

The church also has an entry in the annual Highland Fourth of July Parade. A decorated trailer with puppets, ballons, and children on board is accompanied by volunteers who walk alongside to hand out candy and flyers about Vacation Bible School. Children can also ride bikes and scooters. The flyers invite people to come to VBS.
